airpods

Oh, AirPods. Probably the best Apple invention since the iPhone that’s Wireless Headphones Comfortable and looks amazing on your head when applied. While it certainly raises its style level, its ultra-sleek design can make it hard to spot battery life and any functionality issues.

The new AirPods Pro come with great features like Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, force-sensing buttons, wireless charging, and battery life that can be more than 24 hours not including charging. Instead of waiting for the light on the case to turn green, there are better ways to check the battery level on AirPods Pro. Let’s see.

1. When charging with a Lightning cable

To check if the Airpods were charging while connected with a Lightning cable, you had to open the case to see the bright red LED lights. Although there is an LED on the outside of the case when charging wirelessly, you still need to open the case to see if it works. AirPods Charge when using a Lightning cable.

2. When charging wirelessly

It wouldn’t make sense to pick up your AirPods from the wireless charging pad and just open the case to check if AirPods are shipped or not. For this reason, when placing AirPods on the wireless charging pad, you can gently touch the AirPods case and the charging status LED on the case will light up.

3. Ask Siri

If you’re lazy like me to access any of your devices, you can always ask Siri (okay) to tell you the battery level. All you have to do is ask the question. “Hey Siri, what’s the battery level of my AirPods?” It should respond by telling you the current battery level. This works for both iOS, MacOS But my experience with macOS was not very good.

I’m using macOS Mojave, Siri had trouble getting the correct battery percentage for one of my AirPods, but Siri is on iOS 13 She gave an accurate answer every time.

4. On iPhone

You can stay updated on the battery percentage of your AirPods at all times with the help of the Batteries widget. Simply activate the Batteries tool and swipe left on the lock screen to check the battery status.

The only caveat to this method is that you’ll only be told the battery level if your AirPods are in the case.

5. On Mac

The easiest way to check the battery level of AirPods on Mac is to go to Bluetooth Settings. Just click the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar, hover over the AirPods, and it will show you the battery percentage. Like iOS, it only shows the speaker’s battery level if it’s in the case.

On another note, you can use AirBuddy to receive iOS-style notifications on your PC.

6. On the Apple watch

correspond Apple Watch Works well with all devices in the Apple ecosystem and you can also check the battery of your AirPods. The watch works just like the iPhone. Open the watch control center, touch the Battery percentage icon View the battery levels of all connected devices.

7. On an Android smartphone

AirPods are obviously an Apple device that’s meant to work within the Apple ecosystem, but they also work well with smartphones running Android. There are plenty of apps that would display a similar window when you place your AirPods near your phone and open the case.

To check the battery level in AirPods Pro on your Android device, install AirBattery AND give it all the permission you need. Just open the case next to the phone and it will show you the current battery percentage. AirBattery is free on play store and contains ads.

8.Windows and Linux

Unfortunately, there are no apps for Windows and Linux operating systems at this time. Although Windows 10 detects battery levels by displaying them next to connected devices, but it does not detect the battery level of it. However, if new methods or applications come up in the future, we will mention them here.
