1. Teach respect and responsiveness

For this, parents have an essential role in recreating. They are wrong if the parents yell, abuse, or fight at home and expect respect and politeness. Whatever you wish your children to learn, you must mirror the same behaviour.

5. Always acknowledge your child

Acknowledgement is very important. If you do not acknowledge your child, they will never have a sense of achievement.

 For example, if your child is playing something and they make something out of it, acknowledge them. Do not just shun them away and scold them. Not acknowledging this might lead to severe consequences. Sometimes a child starts stammering or fumbling. 

These are the significant consequences of not acknowledging your child on time. Try to be practical and be in their position. It may be disheartening for you if you do something and you are not being acknowledged. Hence, praise your child in whatever they do. 

6. On-the-spot correction

When you are explaining the do’s and don’ts of something to your children, there are high chances that they need help understanding on the spot. It is essential to explain the reason behind it. 

If, for a specific reason, your child is misbehaving, do not let that situation go. Talk and make them understand. Be polite and calm in all such cases. Do not be excessively laborious with your child, as they may pick the same tone as you.
